Keralite Wins Australia Day Medals for Service |

V.P. Unnikrishnan, Secretary of the Federation of Indian Communities, Queensland (FICQ) has received two Australia Day Achievement Medals for his contribution to the society there.
Unnikrishnan, native of Thiruvananthapuram, has been settled in Brisbane for more than 10 years. He has been awarded the Lord Mayor's 2010 Australia Day Achievement Award.
He has also been awarded the Australia Day medal from the Queensland Government (Department of Transport and Main Roads) in January 2010.
